Atelier Sophie Teaser Trailer, Coming to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita
Famitsu recently confirmed that Atelier Sophie: Alchemist of the Mysterious Book is indeed the the title of the next Atelier game, which will kickstart off a new Atelier saga, and on 8th Gen too. Though, as it’s coming to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita as well as PlayStation 4, it’s not fully 8th gen. After the reveal, Gust then released a teaser trailer for Atelier Sophie, shown below.

But it’s still great to get confirmation of a new Atelier game never the less, and it’s great to hear it’s coming out on PlayStation 4 though no surprises there.
The keywords behind the theme of Atelier Sophie: Alchemist of the Mysterious Book are “alchemy” and “book”… so, no surprises there either, I guess. The protagonist of the game is called Sophie Nohenmuller, and is voiced by Yuuka Aisaka (Sakura Trick; Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu; Etotama), and was designed by NOCO (Steins;Gate Comic Anthology: Time Traveler’s Tale vol. 3; Rage of Bahamut; Sword of Phantasia).
Atelier Sophie: Alchemist of the Mysterious Book will release 25th September 2015 in Japan. There will be a limited edition in Japan that will come with the following items:
- – Atelier Sophie visual book
- – Atelier Sophie sound archives
- – B3-size poster
- – Clear marker set of the characters
- – A 5-set DLC for items that can be used in-game
