Away: Journey to the Unexpected First Person Anime Action

Away: Journey to the Unexpected is as weird as it sounds. This is a first person adventure game where you will slay robots with a wooden stick, fight adorable bats and talk to a frog inside a toilet bowl.

The game is made by Aurélien Regard, the co-founder of Arkedo Studio, and Jim Gennisson who worked as a level designer on the Rayman franchise. The whole art-style of AWAY is heavily inspired by Japanese anime and its unique 2D characters meets 3D backgrounds is something we don’t see everyday. AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected will be coming in 2017 to Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Mac. Expect more details in the following days during PAX East.

AWAY is a colorful first person adventure game that combines action and negociation mixed in a rogue-lite environment!

Progress through the story and, level by level choose your path and recruit allies. All the strange characters you will meet ingame will be playable in first person, and it will be up to you to find the right words to convince them to join your team!
