BlazBlue Central Fiction Art is getting me kinda hype
Arc System Works has released some lovely new BlazBlue Cenral Fiction art – with the new installment in the series due to release in Japanese arcades at the end of the year. And following on console in the West in 2036. HAHAHAHAH! Yeah – that was a little BlazBlue release date joke there – because they are JUST. THE. FUNNIEST.
*cough*
Anyway, the key BlazBlue Central Fiction art is looking pretty nice – and interesting to see Nine, Hibiki Kohaku and Naoto Kurogane take a greater share of the limelight on this one. I love seeing how this series has evolved over the years and, as usual from Arc, the artwork is absolutely on point.
As it happens, I’m playing BlazBlue quite a lot again now after a bit of a break. Chronophantasma Extend released here just last week, if you didn’t know – and it’s been a real plesure to be acquainted with it again. Easily my favourite in the series, it feels so quick and refined – and now that the character roster is competitive in size, I’m having a blast ditching my main – and trying out everyone that I’d previously not bothered with.
Amazing what a break of 12 months does for your appetite for a series.
You can pick up the Chibi Heroes version of the game from this very site by the way (I can confirm the Jubei Chibi is pretty rad!) Unboxing below!
