Blue Reflection Trailer and Further Details Revealed
Gust have positively spoiled us with a proper Blue Reflection trailer and a bunch of new information. This includes new character bios and some further information about gameplay and the enemies you’ll be facing! This game really does look stunning.
Chihiro Inoue (CV: Ayaka Suwa)

A curious girl – it’s hard to know what she’s thinking. She acts out of consideration for others, but her caring nature often doesn’t translate well through her actions. She’s a well-meaning troublemaker.
Yuri Saiki (CV: Ayane Sakura)

A highly intelligent girl with an IQ of 300. She’s proud of her IQ and a recognised prodigy at school, but she pretends to be an ordinary student on the surface. Since she’s spent her life focusing on intelligence over emotions, she can’t control her own feelings very well and struggles to read the feelings of others.
Gameplay is divided into two main settings – the school and the Other World. Each day will follow roughly the same formula, where you have the opportunity to bond with the other characters at school and you then decide what to do after school. This can be spending time with someone whose bond you want to increase, creating items, or going to the Other World.
The Other World is the fantasy setting where you face off against huge monsters as a magical girl. The contrast between the delicate art of the everyday scenes and these huge monsters is really something!
Another aspect of the gameplay is the FuriSupe phone app. Popular among high school girls, it allows you to message other characters and play a variety of mini-games. The theme and BGM are customisable too.
Blue Reflection: Sword of the Girl Who Dances in Illusions is out on PS4 and Vita in Japan on 30th March. Thanks to 4Gamer for the info.
