COMPETITION: Hakuoki Memories of the Shinsengumi
A little treat for those of you who enjoy Visual Novels this afternoon. Our friends at Rising Star have very kindly given us 3 Nintendo 3DS eShop codes to give away for the excellent Hakuoki Memories of the Shinsengumi. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Hakuoki, we’ve covered it a little in the past here.
For those of you who can’t be bothered to click the link, Hakuoki is set in Japan’s Edo preiod – in the final stages of Japan’s Samurai culture. The story follows a young girl who’s searching for her father – and who falls in with a bunch of ronin – masterless samurai who’ll aid her in her quest.
Romance is the name of the game here – and being an Otome VN, this is very much one for the ladies. BUT! And it’s a big ‘but’ – the writing and plotting is such that, actually, it’s quite enjoyable no matter what gender you are, or whichever side of the fence you sit on.
Anyway, I guess you really want to know how you can win a copy?
Well, all you have to do is look at the image above and send us a one sentence caption! Send your entry to info[at]ricedigital.net with HAKUOKI COMPO in the subject header. You have until midnight on Sunday the 17th of November (GMT) to send your email – and we will judge the competition on Monday the 18th.
The three entrants that we find the most amusing will win themselves a download code for Hakuoki on 3DS. I should probably point out that these are EU codes – and so WILL NOT WORK on 3DS’ outside the EU.
With that in mind – all entrants must live in the EU or UK to be eligable.
