Digimon World: Next Order heads West next year

Bandai Namco has announced that Digimon World: Next Order will be releasing in Europe and the Americas early next year and that it will be available on PS4 and Vita. It will be available physically and digitally across Europe but only digitally across America. The Vita version will be available digitally only in North America but not Europe.

Digimon World: Next Order sees you pulled into the Digital World which is being ravaged by Machinedramons and it’s up to you, along with your new Digimon friends, to find out why the Machinedramons are attacking the digital world and to put a stop to it – you’re also looking for a way back to the real world, too! You can play as a male or female character, interact with and recruit over 200 Digimon and have two Digimon partners for the first time in the history of the series.

The below image might not be for the Western release but check out how lovely the art is!

digimon world next order west release

The West will see Digimon World: Next Order release PS4 and Vita (America only) early next year, and it’s already shot to a high place on my ‘games I’m super excited about releasing in 2017’ list!

Edit: You guys might have noticed that I have edited this article and inordinate amount of times but the timeline of this announement is as follows: Initially, the game was announced as a digital exclusive across Europe and the Americas, which then changed to being digital-only in the Americas and physical in Europe. It was then later stated that it would come to Vita, but now it’s been stated that it will only come to Vita in the Americas as a digital-only title. I apologise for any confusion but I myself have been thoroughly confused and I hold hope that this information is the fully correct information – it seems that anything can happen with Digimon World: Next Order, so I’m taking bets on what will be announced next. Regardless yay, more Digimon!

Spread the love!
