Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory Introduces Erika Mishima

The latest issue of V-Jump brings further information on Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory, with a story that runs parallel to the previous Cyber Sleuth. The magazine gives us some more details on the hacker team ‘Hudíe’, as well as introducing a new character, Erika Mishima, and confirming the return of Fei.

As previously revealed, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory follows Keisuke Amazawa, a young man falsely accused of account raiding, who is determined to prove his innocence. To do this, he joins the hacker team, Hudíe. Hudíe is based in an Internet cafe, and you can use the PC to take on requests, then investigate both online and offline. Of course, dungeons will require you to use your hacking skills too.

Another member of Hudíe is the new character, Erika Mishima. Erika is a shut-in who lives with her older brother, and awakened as a genius after a certain incident in her past. Her Digimon partner is the cowardly, clumsy Wormmon, who she saved before and is now the mascot of Hudíe. Erika and Wormmon will sometimes battle as members of Keisuke’s party.

Returning from Cyber Sleuth is Fei. Fei is a member of Zaxon whose Digimon partner is TigerVespamon. She’s ruthless girl, who will do anything to achieve her goal, including use Keisuke to take down opposing organisations.

The previous Cyber Sleuth was a lot of fun, and Hacker’s Memory seems very promising too! If you missed it, you can check out an English trailer for the game here.
