Dragon Ball FighterZ Gamescom Trailer, CollectorZ Edition Detailed
Bandai Namco has released a Dragon Ball FighterZ Gamescom trailer, giving us a look at some more gameplay and a tantalising glimpse of the game’s story mode! An impressive European ‘CollectorZ Edition’ has also been announced! Check out the new trailer below:
With the resurrection of Android 16 and the invasion of the mysterious army corps, the super warriors start to fall. What is happening?!
The CollectorZ Edition will contain an 18cm diorama of Goku with “Manga Dimension” colouring, 3 art boards, and a unique steelbook case. Both the CollectorZ and standard editions will offer a pre-order bonus of early access to the January open beta, early unlock of SSGSS Goku and SSGSS Vegeta, and 2 exclusive lobby avatars.
More details about the open beta are yet to come, but registration for the September 16th – 17th closed beta is now open! You can register for the PS4 version here, while Xbox One players will be selected through the Xbox One Insider Hub program. The European schedule for the closed beta is as follows:
1st Session: 10:00 – 13: 00 BST (Saturday)
2nd Session: 18:00 – 21: 00 BST (Saturday)
3rd Session: 02:00 – 05:00 BST (Sunday)
4th Session: 21:00 – 00:00 BST (Sunday/Monday)
In addition to Android 16 and the Android 17/Android 18 duo, a new online battle mode has been announced! Party Match will see 6 players take control of a character each in an intense 3vs3 online battle!
Finally, as previously announced, a 64-player Dragon Ball FighterZ Gamescom tournament will take place on August 25th. Definitely not one to miss!
Dragon Ball FighterZ is due to release worldwide in February 2018, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
