Escape from JoJo’s Bizarre Mansion: JoJo Escape Room Introduces a New Enemy Stand

Following on from Part 4’s JoJo’s Bizarre Amusement Park Escape earlier in the year, a new JoJo themed escape room awaits brave potential Stand users. This time, it’s set in Part 3: Stardust Crusaders, as you’re trapped in a shifting labyrinth by one of DIO’s henchmen — a brand new and original enemy stand user!

Escape from JoJo’s Bizarre Mansion, the title of this escape room, introduces Dja Micah, a brand new henchman of DIO, who traps the Stardust Crusaders in a hotel. A mansion hotel. A bizarre mansion hotel. And it’s you and the rest of your team that’s going to need to help them escape.

With his Stand, Dja can control the mansion itself. He’s voiced by Hiroki Yasumoto, a talented voice actor well known for his role as Hoozuki in Hozuki’s Coolheadedness.

Update: The Stand’s name is probably “Houses of the Holy”, referring to the Led Zeppelin album of the same name. Thanks to a Facebook comment for that. The Stand’s name is 「ハウス・オブ・ホーリー」. To be honest, I’ve wracked my brains, and I don’t know how to translate this. It’s “House of…” something. It’s “Hori” or “Holi” or something. I guess I don’t know enough musical references to be able to instantly get it.

Something like “Holy House”? Though, given the character’s hotel concierge theme I’d personally name it something like “Hotel California” or “House of the Rising Sun”. Sorry, Bryce is in Japan visiting maid cafés at the moment so I can’t ask his advice.

In addition to just the escape room game, the locations will also offer unique JoJo merch! The items are a clipboard in the style of the hotel from the game, a set of temporary tattoos, and a pretty cool hooded jacket with the logo of the escape room game on it.

Escape from JoJo’s Bizarre Mansion starts off in Tokyo on 2nd November 2017, but will have locations spread across different regions all the way through to May 2018. Though most locations finish their runs in January 2018. If you’re in Japan check it out, though you may let your team down if you’re not good enough at Japanese… ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚

But if you’re bad enough at the game maybe Jotaro will look at you and say “yare yare daze” in disdain… (๑♡⌓♡๑)
