Exist Archive Coming into Existence this December

Japan has a habit of coming up with awkwardly sounding titles for their games, the newest one being Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky. This will be a collaboration between tri-Ace and Spike Chunsoft. This will be an RPG, similar to their other extremely popular franchise Valkyrie Profile.

The game is set in modern day Tokyo as well as another planet called Protolexa. The cast of 12 characters are killed after which they are reborn as immortals. Just like Valkyrie Profile they will help fight in the war of the gods.

Another element that is similar to Valkyrie Profile is the 2D platforming puzzles, where you will be jumping and dashing to get to hard to reach places of the dungeon. Like in Valkyrie Profile, enemies will be visible in dungeons and the combat will feature a system where every button corresponds to another ally’s attack.

Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky is scheduled to be out on the 17th of December for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
