Fear Effect Sedna Free Demo Lands on Steam
After a successful Kickstarter, Fear Effect Sedna, the third installment to this notable franchise, has gotten a demo on Steam. If you are excited for this title or are just curious as to how it is shaping up you can download the demo free off Steam.
During its 30 or so minute run time you visit a variety of locales, sneak around, battle numerous foes and get to see some pretty decent cutscenes.
You take direct control of both Hana and Rain and you can swap between them with a simple button press. Combat feels like those isometric dungeon crawlers except with guns instead of swords and fancy cyberpunk tools instead of magic. The twist here is that you can sneak around and stealthy take down opponents or if the push comes to shove use various objects as cover.
The game has a couple of puzzles as well as those iconic instant death sequences. Do note that the game is still in development so there are bound to be a few bumps and hitches.
Fear Effect Sedna will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
