Final Fantasy Jazz CD to Release November 22nd
As part of Final Fantasy‘s 30th anniversary, Square Enix is releasing a Final Fantasy jazz CD! The Square Enix Jazz -Final Fantasy- CD features jazz arrangements of twelve pieces from across the series. There are some interesting choices, which I’m sure will sound amazing in a jazz style!
Here’s the tracklist:
1. Blinded By Light – Final Fantasy XIII
2. Eternal Wind – Final Fantasy III
3. Searching for Friends – Final Fantasy VI
4. Battle With the Four Fiends – Final Fantasy IV
5. The Rebel Army – Final Fantasy II
6. Battle at the Big Bridge – Final Fantasy V
7. Serah’s Theme – Final Fantasy XIII
8. Zanarkand – Final Fantasy X
9. Not Alone – Final Fantasy IX
10. Melodies of Life – Final Fantasy IX
11. Love Grows – Final Fantasy VIII
12. Main Theme – Final Fantasy series
Not every game is covered, but it’s a good selection of tracks! I won’t be surprised if there’s another Final Fantasy jazz CD in the future either!
The CD is available to pre-order now from the Square Enix e-Store for ¥3,240 (about £22) and is due to release on November 22nd. Buying it from there will get you two bonus download tracks too, which are different versions of ‘The Rebel Army’ and ‘Melodies of Life’.
