Freedom Wars fights its way to EU and NA on PS Vita later this year
Freedom Wars, a Vita title in development by SCE Japan Studio, Shift and Dimps, is slated to release in EU and NA later this year. You take on the role of a prisoner, who was handed a million-year sentence when they were born, as you partake in rescue missions to slowly chip away at the sentence and onwards to freedom.
Alongside single player, you’ll also be able to fight online with up to 4 players via Ad-Hoc or 8 players online to rescue civilians. If co-op isn’t your thing, there will also be a competitive mode to sink your teeth into.
Freedom Wars boasts a huge array of customisation options, allowing you to create your own unique loadout, characters and more.
With the recently released Toukiden: The Age of Demons, and God Eater 2 in Japan (hopefully coming overseas!), Sony hope that Freedom Wars will join them to fill the Monster Hunter-less void on Vita later this year.
