All-girl 2D fighting action in Koihime Embu
If there’s one thing I’m a sucker for, it’s an all girl fighter. From Arcana Heart to Skullgirls I’m all about the sprite-based girly-fighters. Seeing as I’m a little late in catching up on the events from JAEPO2014 a while back, Koihime Embu has only just hit my radar.
It’s the sequel to Shin Koihime Mosou: Romance of the Three Kingdoms Adaptation With an Abundance of Girls – which bizarrely is a Three Kingdom’s 2D fighter where all the generals from that story have been turned into girls – and then made to fight each other.
I’m not going to argue with that logic – I’m just here to celebrate it.
Koihime Embu will be coming to arcades in Japan with the help of Sega, this year. The previous game did, as far as I can remember, get a PC release, although I believe the PS3 version is still missing in action.
