Gravity Rush 2 Raven DLC is Coming in March and It’s Free
If there’s one thing I can’t argue with it’s “free”. Not only are Sony giving players their long-awaited Gravity Rush 2 Raven DLC, a chance to play a story centred around the fan favourite character, but they’re also adding it to the game for free as soon as 21st March 2017.
The full title of the DLC is the ridiculously long Gravity Rush 2 Another Story: The Ark of Time – Raven’s Choice, and will take place after the ending of the first Gravity Rush game. Apparently the concept for the DLC was originally conceived as being part of Gravity Rush 2, but they decided to scrap it to make the new game more approachable to those who didn’t play the first one, which makes sense as at the time the first Gravity Rush was Vita exclusive.
Instead of abandoning the project completely, and with how popular Raven is with fans, it was decided that they would continue the development on this chapter of the story as DLC. And you really can’t argue with that decision if it’s free. It feels super nice and fluffy to get something like this, doesn’t it?
Raven’s Choice will see Raven meeting two brand new characters — Lumino the Guardian of Light, and Tenebria the Guardian of Darkness. In addition to Raven’s Choice, the free DLC will also add some extra challenge modes to the main Gravity Rush 2.
