Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator Raven Announcement Details
Famitsu have revealed the Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator Raven character details after they announced the addition to the game in their issue preview earlier in the week. Thanks to them we can finally learn more about Raven’s appearance in Xrd.
Raven is the second brand new character announced for Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator after Kum. They both join Jack-O, Johnny, Jam, as new playable characters in the Revelator version of Guilty Gear Xrd.
Raven’s always been a fairly important character in previous Guilty Gear games, so it’s cool to see him make a playable appearance in Revelator.
In Revelator Raven’s fighting style is all about long range and specialised mid-range attacks. His most unique element is his “Hit Me Here” move (name subject to change). If he’s hit while using that special move, his red gauge will increase, and he will receive a boost in all of his damage and moves, from normal kicks and punches etc., to different parts of his special moves.
You still need to be careful about managing Raven’s health, though. It adds a tricky element of masochism that might make him hard to learn, but will definitely prove destructive in the hands of those who take the time to master them. How much can you take?
