Killer Is Dead Playable At MCM Scotland Comic Con 2013

UK fans that have yet to try out Suda 51’s latest bizarre action game Killer Is Dead will have the chance to so this weekend. Deep Silver, the European publisher of Killer Is Dead, will be bringing the game to this year’s MCM Scotland Comic Con, giving con-goers a taste of what the full game has to offer.

Killer Is Dead features all the hallmarks of the classic Suda 51 experience: a stylish main character, a story that manages to entertain and confuse the player in equal measure, and unique gameplay that puts its own twist on tried and tested mechanics.

Mondo Zappa, Killer Is Dead‘s protagonist, is a stylish executioner, tasked with killing dangerous individuals from around the world.  To do so, he wields his trusty katana and cybernetic left arm, which can transformed into an array of devastating weaponry.

Deep Silver will also be showing off Saints Row IV, which takes the series to even further levels of insanity. This time, the leader of the Saints has been elected as President of the United States. This achievement is short lived though, with an alien invasion transporting the Saints into a simulated version of Steelport. Using newly gained superpowers and the usual array of inventive weaponry, the Saints must free themselves from the simulation and save the world from its alien oppressors.

Drop by Deep Silver’s stand at the event to give either of these games a try. MCM Scotland Comic Con will be taking place on Saturday 7th September at Glasgow SECC. Other videogame content available at the event includes Dance Dance Revolution and a retro gaming zone dedicated to best of gaming history.

More information can be found at MCM Scotland Comic Con’s official site. Advance tickets have now sold out, but standard tickets are available to buy on the day.
