Kojima Reveals Kojima Productions Icon – Ludens

Hideo Kojima has been enjoying his time since he left Konami and working on reestablishing his studio. Previously we talked about the new logo’s reveal and now the full body of the mascot has been unveiled in a brand new artwork.

Kojima-san revealed on his twitter the mascot in the logo is actually a skull-faced astronaut wearing an extra-vehicular activity suit. What is interesting is that this character seems to be wearing a skull mask, in space. It certainly has that aura of mystery Kojima has been striving for with his new project. It is not yet clear if this character will be featured in the upcoming game by Kojima Productions.

LUDENS, the icon of Kojima Productions. We’ll deliver THE NEW PLAY in THE NEW FUTURE with the cutting-edge equipment, technology, & the frontier spirit. The gear he’s wearing is the extra-vehicular activity(EVA) creative suit.
