Live Action Nijimura Brothers Character Posters Revealed for JJBA Movie
The first part of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Diamond is Unbreakable live action film is almost upon us, releasing this year in August. The marketing drive has begun in earnest, as the production company has begun unveiling character posters, most recently for the live action Nijimura brothers!
JoJo fans will be well aware of the important roles the Nijimura brothers play in the Diamond is Unbreakable story, especially early on. It’s likely that in this “first part” of Diamond is Unbreakable they’ll both play a major role. It’s unclear quite how far the Part 1 adaptation will go, but it’s safe to assume this is the movie we’ll get the healthiest servings of Nijimura action.
Keicho Nijimura (Masaki Okada)
Masaki Okada is involved with another live action manga adaptation too in Gintama! He’s not quite as bulky as Keicho appears to be in the manga and anime, but his eyebrow game does seem to be pretty on point! I can only wonder as to how they’ll adapt his stand into live action.
Okuyasu Nijimura (Mackenyu)
Mackenyu is pretty notable for being attached to the upcoming Pacific Rim sequel. Okuyasu is pretty beloved character in Diamond is Unbreakable with his own unique style. They’ve toned down some of his “bling” design to make it bit more realistic for live action, which is fair enough I suppose. He looks pretty serious here, but remember this is from early on in the series, so we’ll have to wait and see where Okuyasu ends up in this adaptation.
