Very Long Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory Trailer Shows Lots of Things

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth was one of the best Digimon games in a very long time, and one of the few proper ones in years to come to the west. Thankfully, Hacker’s Memory, the follow-up, is looking just as good (if not better), and is also coming west. This super long Japanese trailer shows a lot of what you can expect.

One great thing about watching super long Japanese trailers is that it doesn’t feel like you’re completely spoiling yourself if you don’t know the language. Also, they’re usually super long.

The trailer breaks down a lot of the gameplay elements, like the battles and communications. You can get an idea of how it plays. It’s not too complicated (we’ve had a quick hands-on ourselves), and provides plenty of Digimon for you to try out in your teams.

It also takes a look at some of the story scenes, and the characters that will be in the game — including the recently announced returning characters, Yuuko and Kyoko.

This time around, though, the game focuses on hacker prodigy Keisuke Amazawa, who must use his skills and join up with hacker group Hudie to prove himself innocent of a crime he didn’t commit.

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory releases 19th January 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Vita.
