Lost Dimension Opening Movie
Lost Dimension is a tactical RPG that is being published by NIS America in Europe. It’s expect to release Summer 2015 both digitally and physically, which is a rare and lovely sight to behold. It’s coming out on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. To help you get hyped, NIS America have released the European version of the opening move to watch here:
Lost Dimension was developed by Lancarse, who have done a lot of work with other people’s IPs in the past, including Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, Space Bust-A-Move, and Lost Heroes, which isn’t related to Lost Dimensions, but was an Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Gundam crossover which sounds like the best thing ever how did I not know about it until now? Still, it’s nice to see them take a stab at something more personal.
It’s hard to tell without going hands on, but from what I’ve seen of the game it looks like it could end up being a pretty solid tactical RPG. The Vita isn’t exactly desperate for more JRPGs, but none of its tactical RPGs have been particularly stand-out either. And the visual novel elements sound pretty interesting too. I look forward to finding out just how long we’ll have to wait!
To subdue the threat The End poses to the entire planet, several countries create a special forces group called SEALED, which is comprised of eleven psychics with superhuman abilities. Each soldier has their own talents and skillsets to use in combat, which can be expanded after gaining enough experience in the field. Bonds of friendship will form amongst the members of SEALED, but be mindful of which allies to keep close, as The End mandates the player must begin eliminating teammates. Make sure to accuse the right teammate of being a traitor though once the final battle with The End begins any remaining traitors will fight the main character alongside him.
