MangaGamer Announces Slew of New Visual Novels
At this years Otakon MangaGamer announced six new titles as well, as two new partners. Their first partner 3rdEye brings us Sorcery Jokers, an action packed story with six different perspectives. Their other new partner is Purple Software who is behind Hapymaher.
Fans of yuri visual novels will be glad to hear that A Kiss for the Petals New Generation is coming to the west, While Sona-Nyl promises to scratch that steampunk itch. Among the announcements there was also the first Rance titles to be officially localized in the west, Rance 5D and Rance 6. This is popular AliceSoft series, known for its RPG mechanics, bizarre monsters, and of course, rather kinky sex scenes.

Hapymaher

Though eager to cast their votes, it also makes them wonder–who are the Best Couples of the annex? This brand-new title in the Petals franchise introduces a trio of new couples with love blooming in the air.
Sorcery Jokers
If the world you knew changed overnight, would you be the same? With new powers suddenly at your fingertips, would you do what was right? Twelve years ago, when magic awakened in this world, many faced that question. Chaos reigned as crime waves surged and the government sought to control, shape, and harness this new power. Sona Nyl
The fifth entry in Liarsoft’s Steampunk Series is a mysterious fairytale in which fantasy and reality intertwine.
The story unfolds from the perspectives of two women:
One who travels through the ruins of Engine City New York, destroyed in an unexplained disaster some years before; and one who finds herself in an underground world with a purple sky, where the “vanished” city still stands.
The central focus of the tale is Lily, a girl devoid of memories who sets off through the bizarrely transformed “Underground New York.” Driven by her determination to reach the “ends of the sky,” she travels through this dangerous world accompanied by an enigmatic young man known as A. In the course of her long and difficult journey, they meet many of the city’s inhabitants, and fend off the attacks of strange and terrifying monsters.

How is she connected to the woman exploring the ruins on the surface?
And why was New York destroyed?In the course of their journeys, many mysteries will be unraveled…
Rance VI
In Rance VI, Rance travels to the magical Kingdom of Zeth with Sill to take a job. However, In Zeth, mages are considered superior and all others treated as second class citizens! Indignant at his imprisonment and the discrimination turned toward him, Rance joins the resistance to lead Zeth to a revolution! With just cause on his side, Rance sets out to punish the evil mages who scorned him and expand his ever-growing harem! Jam-packed with gameplay, Rance VI is a full 3D Dungeon Crawler, with over thirty dungeons full of different monsters to face and events to trigger!
Rance 5D
In Rance 5D, a standalone episode in the series, Rance goes adventuring with his slave girl, Sill, and his pet, Athena 2.0, in order to recoup all the money he’s blown! Their travels lead them down a dungeon where they get lost and wander into a mysterious town full of youkai! Together they go dungeon crawling, face dice battles, capture female monsters, recruit and train the monsters they capture, all just to try and get home! There’s loads of gameplay with battles and movement determined by dice rolls, while strategic management of time, skills, and item drops can help affect your odds–no two playthroughs will be the same in Rance 5D! This fun, lighthearted title in the series makes a great intro to Rance before delving into Rance VI!
