Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain Release Date, DLC, Collector’s, Day One
After spending months replaying Ground Zeroes while experimenting with hallucinogenics to try and imagine I’m playing a different game each time, waiting for news on the “true” Metal Gear Solid V, the Phantom Pain, a whole bunch just comes along at once! Right out of the gate the release date: September 1st 2015 on consoles (the PC version will come later). But there’s also more news about delicious DLC and bonus content…
The PC version will be releasing on Steam on September 15th. While it’s kind of a bummer to have to wait, that’s significantly less of a wait than it was for Ground Zeroes, so we can take solace in that.
The game will retail at £59.99 on current-gen (£10 more expensive than last-gen), and will come with Metal Gear Online, too. But the Collector’s Edition is really where it’s at, which will set you back a modest £99.99.
