Soft Engine Jiggles its Way into Musou Stars
You might be wondering what Soft Engine is but if you’ve played Dead or Alive 5 or Xtreme 3 then you know. Oh, you know. The Dead or Alive girls’ look so soft and supple due to the efforts of the Soft Engine, which is also the reason that they’re so… jiggly. It’s basically the jiggle engine.
Musou Stars makes use of the Soft Engine for character models and you can see the difference it makes below.
Whilst the jiggle may not be to everyone’s liking, the character models undeniably look fantastic and Musou Stars is a game I really want to get my hands on! Preferably a Western version and yes, you may take this as a big ol’ hint, Koei Tecmo.
I’ve been gaming since a very young age and although I can’t remember my very first game, I fondly remember enjoying Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and being giddy with joy once I beat Dr. Robotnik. My all-time favourite game is a tie between Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy IX. As you may have noticed, I have a love for JRPG’s although I dabble in all genres.
