New Gundam Breaker Announced for PS4, Teaser Trailer Released
Bandai Namco has announced the latest entry in the Gundam Breaker series, New Gundam Breaker! It’s coming to the Americas and Europe as well as Japan and Southeast Asia on PS4 this year too, bringing the series west for the first time! Take a look at the teaser trailer below:
New Gundam Breaker sees players breaking enemy Gunpla and gathering their materials to use to build their own Gundam to fight with! It contains brand new game content, such as the ‘real-time customisation battle’ system, which lets you switch out parts on the go even in the midst of battle. As the Gunpla are built on frames, you can still move and perform actions when parts are destroyed.
The teaser trailer doesn’t show much, but it sounds very fun! A western release is definitely welcome too! There’ll be more information on New Gundam Breaker in an introduction broadcast taking place at 17:00 JST on January 28th, as well as details on the game’s official website and Twitter account.
New Gundam Breaker is due to release on PS4 in Japan, Southeast Asia, the Americas, and Europe this year.
