New Nintendo Switch Trailer Highlights Social Gaming
A new Nintendo Switch trailer has been released, with a focus on gaming out and about and with friends. The trailer runs through a few of the console’s launch titles, such as 1-2-Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, as well as ARMS, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Splatoon 2. Some of this trailer extends things we glimpsed in the launch trailer, but there’s a whole load more now that the Switch is getting new information bit by bit. I find it a little disappointing that there was such an emphasis on 1-2-Switch, but it makes sense for the trailer being based around the idea of social gaming. It also makes me think that the game will never be quite as good unless it involves the loser falling into a swimming pool.
I’m curious to see if there’ll be other concept trailers looking at different aspects of the Switch’s capabilities to come. It still feels like we have a lot to learn about the Switch, and the release date is not that far off now!
