Occultic;Nine Box Art is, uh, Something

Have you all seen that Occultic;Nine box art? You can’t miss it. You might never be able to repair your relationship with your parents if they saw this on your shelf. If you’ve ever wondered if Ryoka has breasts, then, well, may this box art put that question to its peaceful rest.

Let’s be real. The art style may be really nice, but this box art is pretty bad.

I understand that sex sells but I don’t think this could actually be described as sexy? Either way, the box art isn’t even the real news here, readers. The news is that Occultic;Nine is now getting a physical release too, having previously only been scheduled for a digital-only release. The game was delayed for this, and will now release on 9th November in Japan.

Fingers crossed the Occultic;Nine visual novel heads West, and hopefully it’ll have a better box art more along the lines of the light novel.
