Persona Q: Shadows of the Labyrinth allows everybody to change Personas
Usually in Persona games, only those who’ve been chosen to wield the Wild Card are able to change Personas, but Persona Q looks to be shaking that up by allowing everybody to switch Personas, allowing for more tactical gameplay and elemental variety.
The trailer below shows Kanji and Yukiko changing Personas, giving them access to other elemental attacks outside of their usual lightning and fire. Further mixing things up, you can also have 5 people in your team rather than the standard 4.
This change will allow people to choose their favourite characters to be in their team, rather than those who might have the best odds in battle.
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth releases in Japan on 5th June, and Atlus has also confirmed that it’ll release in NA later this year, but there’s been no word on a EU release date yet. It’s likely that’ll it arrive eventually though as Persona games usually do.
