Pixel Pumpkins is on Kickstarter!
Did you grow up in the 90’s? Do you like anime and video games? Of course you do, you wouldn’t be visiting the Rice Digital website if you didn’t! Well I have some good news for you! You can now flaunt your love for 90’s anime and video games in the form of fashionable apparel. That’s right; Pixel Pumpkins is answering the prayers of otaku-fashionistas everywhere!

Graphic designer and illustrator, Alex, is the founder of Pixel Pumpkins. After experiencing a glorious childhood filled with Pokémon cards, N64 games, anime and trips (of which he saved up for himself) to Japan, Alex decided he wanted to share these passions with people all over the world via T-shirts, badges and prints. The designs are masterfully done, depicting memorable moments from 90’s anime and gaming. Who could possibly forget that shocking Pokémon episode where a giant Tentacruel attacks the city of Porta Vista!
If you thought these were your run-of-the-mill tees however, you would be dead wrong. I think we’ve all had T-shirts with amazing printed designs on the front, but after a few washes, they tend to crack and fade, completely ruining the clothing. This is not the case with Pixel Pumpkins. Thanks to high-tech printing, Pixel Pumpkins designs sit within the garment and remain soft to the touch as well as extremely long lasting and durable. Pixel Pumpkins is currently on Kickstarter and is in need of your help if it is to succeed in bringing you stylish garments! The stretch goal is to reach £3,000, and there are some fantastic rewards for backers. This will also mean that the company can branch out into hoodies and hats.
