Bait Bag: Playable Ridley in Super Smash Bros.
Some said Ridley would never be a playable character in Smash Bros. “He’s too big,” they would claim. But, unlike the disillusioned Donkey Kong fans who think King K. Rool should be included in Smash Bros., Metroid is a core Nintendo franchise, and one that deserves to be fully represented to the full in any cross-franchise event.
It couldn’t be simpler to be eligible to download the free Ridley DLC. Like Mewtwo players will need to own Super Smash Bros. on both Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U, and will only need to do a few more things outlined by Nintendo in these simple to understand steps:
• Input the special code you will receive via email as a Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U owner into your Nintendo Virtual Boy system and write down the commands it will give you.
• Start up Smash Bros. Melee on your Nintendo GameCube, making sure to plug in four AGS-001 Nintendo Game Boy Advance SPs using your Nintendo GameCube – Game Boy link cables.
• On each Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP input the commands you’d written down. When the commands have been inputted correctly Tokata’s Song will play.
• You are now almost ready to experience the Ridley DLC in your Super Smash Bros. software.
• Take your Nintendo GameCube memory card and plug them into you Nintendo Wii
• Boot up Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
• From here it’s only a matter of collecting all of the trophies in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
• Now, take a photograph of the your completed collection using a Nintendo Game Boy Camera, and then print it out using the Nintendo Game Boy Printer.
• Tape the photo onto your forehead and take a photo of your own face using a Nintendo 3Ds for use in Nintendo Face Raiders.
• You must complete Nintendo Face Raiders while only using the photograph of your face with the software. Do not scream as your face dies over and over again.
