PS4 Taiko no Tatsujin Title and Dedicated Controller Announced
A PS4 Taiko no Tatsujin game, Taiko no Tatsujin: Session de Dodon ga Don!, has been announced as the latest entry in the series. Several tracks have already been confirmed, including music from Your Name and Pikotaro’s ‘Pen Pineapple Apple Pen’!

This is the first PS4 Taiko no Tatsujin title, which is really exciting! There’s also a dedicated controller in the works, so that’s helpful! The USB controller will let you simply plug-in and play and will be available separately or as part of a bundle with the game.
As in previous entries, you’ll be able to play two-player, but this version also lets you play against a friend’s performance data if you have their PSN account registered.
A “Guest Session Performance” feature lets you enjoy popular characters in sessions too. For example, the Doraemon Guest Session sees Doraemon talking and performing various actions before and during the performance.
Development of Taiko no Tatsujin: Session de Dodon ga Don! is currently 80% complete, with the game due to release on PS4 later this year in Japan.
