Root Letter Sales are Over 200k Worldwide
It has been confirmed that Kadokawa Games’ Root Letter has sold over 200,000 copies! The visual novel revolves around a man searching for his pen pal after he receives a letter saying that she’s murdered somebody, and it was one of my favourite games of 2016.
PQube shared the news on their official Twitter page and the number includes copies sold both physically and digitally, and across both PS4 and Vita. Root Letter is the first game in the Kadokawa Game Mystery series where all titles will revolve around human drama and local culture, and Root Letter is an excellent visual novel that’ll keep you gripped from beginning to end.
Rice Digital are happy to have been able to release the Pen Pal Edition in the West, and I hope that people make an effort to play one of the best games of 2016 — if you’re a visual novel fan, then you certainly don’t want to miss out!
