Sharin no Kuni Kickstarter Fully Funded!
We previously mentioned the new lease on life the Sharin no Kuni Kickstarter was getting, and the project has now met its goal. In an incredible feat, it only took 10 days to raise the main goal of $80,000!
With the starting goal complete, the game is now expected to be released in English in 2017. Additionally, there are stretch goals to bring the game even further along. The first of these is placed at $120,000 and will allow the development of a PS Vita port.
The second, placed at $145,000, allows for the inclusion of bonus chapters from the Sharin no Kuni: Yuukyuu no Shounenshoujo fan disc. They’re really going all out on this!
It’s great to see this project have so much support. Sharin no Kuni looks really interesting, and it’s always good to see high-quality visual novels getting localised! I hope this spells success for some of the Re: Sharin no Kuni Project’s other goals for the game!
The Sharin no Kuni Kickstarter campaign is open for contributions until midnight Pacific Time on December 21st – that’s 8am December 22nd GMT. You can find out more, and donate, here.
