Sho, Minazuki and Shadow Labrys speak English in latest Persona 4 Arena: Ultra Ultimax Suplex Hold trailers
Atlus has released the English trailers for newcomers Sho and Minazuki, as well as familiar face Shadow Labrys.
All 3 seem to have a common goal in mind, and that’s to defeat the Investigation Team and Shadow Operatives, along with the rest of the world.
Starting with Sho, we get to see his awful puns and attacks in action. Personally, I’m not too fond of his voice as it seems Atlus has tried to capture an Adachi-like essence with him, despite Adachi being prominent in the story already. His ‘shut up, shut up!’ is very Adachi-like, too. Sho’s voice seems a bit whiny for him, but I hope it’ll grow on me as more of his character is shown, as I’m sure we’ll see plenty of him in future.
Fortunately, Minazuki sounds more in line with what I was expecting.
Lastly, Shadow Labrys is mouthing everybody off and is ready to exact revenge after the events of Persona 4 Arena. Looks like Labrys will have to step her game up to defeat her Shadow once and for all.
What do you think of Sho’s and Minazuki’s voices? Hopefully it’ll have grown on me by the time it releases at the end of next month in North America. It’s region-free, so Europeans may want to import it.
