Soldam: Drop, Connect, Erase Coming to Switch

Released in 1993 in Arcades, Soldam was a puzzle game created by the once legendary Jaleco company. Now this title will hit Nintendo Switch as Soldam: Drop, Connect and Erase. It will be available in North America both physically and digitally this fall.

Unlike typical puzzles games, the gameplay isn’t as straightforward as you might expect. You will drop sets of four blocks. If there are matching colors horizontally, vertically or diagonally anywhere on the board, you will swap all the colors in between. Once a row contains a single color it will disappear giving you more leeway for future moves. It plays like a colorful version of Othello and offers a good deal of strategy.

The game will feature a variety of modes including a versus mode, an endless mode, a turn-based practice mode and a puzzle mode.
