Capcom announces Street Fighter V sale numbers

Capcom has announced that Street Fighter V has sold 1.4 million units across both PS4 and PC, although this falls short of their 2 million target.
 
Capcom announced this information via their website, and it seemingly includes digitally downloaded copies of the game too. This is still a great number to have sold all things considered, but maybe it might’ve been more had they included more content from day one. As we’ve covered before, the demo for Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- has more content than Street Fighter V as it stands now.
 
With the fiscal year ending on 31st March, Capcom expected Street Fighter V to meet 2 million copies sold in less than 2 months which would’ve been a miracle being only on PS4 and PC, and with the fiasco about lacking content. Street Fighter V is a fantastic game that certainly deserves better, so I hope that Capcom listen and keep working on it.
