Ultra Street Fighter 2 First Person Mode Confirmed
Ultra Street Fighter 2 has so far seemed like a pretty normal HD port of Street Fighter 2 for the Nintendo Switch. But one curious shot in the trailer of a first person hadouken being performed has led to some speculation. Now, with the packshot, the Ultra Street Fighter 2 first person mode is confirmed.

The text on the back of the box is too small to really be able to make out the Kanji, but the game mode appears to be called “Unleash the Hadouken!” The spelling of “Hadouken” is different to usual too — “波Do拳”. The “do” is not usually romaji. It’s not entirely clear why. Maybe they will call it Ha-You-Ken in English?
Still, it’s something to get excited about for the Switch version of Street Fighter 2. While Street Fighter 2 is a great game, for a full retail release it’d be nice to have some fresher twists and additions to the classic game beyond simply Violent Ken.
