New Ys Game on PS4 and Vita
Another announcement at this year’s pre-TGS Sony press conference was the unveil of a new Ys game. This time Adol and his friends will be making their way to the PS4 and PS Vita sometime next year.
The next Ys title will be finally moving to a third person view instead of the overhead camera which we had up until now, showing you a much more close and personal view of the world. Fans needn’t fear as this game is still as dizzyingly as fast as the other titles in the series. The visuals also look vastly improved, but this should be a given considering that the majority of prior games were almost exclusively made for portable consoles.
I'm a huge fan of Japanese games and an aspiring game designer. I play literally every game genre. I also like retro games and miss the challenge that they once had. This is the reason why I love doujin games because they bring back that challenging aspect of retro games while innovating upon it.
