Arc System Works 30th Anniversary Festival Announced

2017 was a great year for fighting game master developers Arc System Works. But 2018 is looking like it will be off the hook — with huge titles Dragon Ball FighterZ and BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle in the works. But, 2018 also marks the 30th anniversary of Arc System Works.

As well as being a big milestone for the company, it also marks another couple of milestones. It’s the 20th anniversary of Guilty Gear, and the 10th anniversary of BlazBlue, both of the company’s flagship fighting game series. It’s like all the stars are aligning. Take a look at the New Year’s celebration video from the team!

In the video the team thank fans for many years of support, and discuss how far they’ve come as a company since they were founded.

Ishiwatari also shreds some guitar at the beginning, which is always nice to see.
