BadLand Games Announce Anima Collector’s Edition
BadLand Games have announced that not only will they be bringing Anima: Gate of Memories out as a physical release for PS4, but also that there’ll be a fancy Anima Collector’s Edition. And it’s not a small thing either! The game will be on sale June, and can be pre-ordered here.
The Anima Collector’s Edition comes with:
– Collector’s Packaging
– The game itself on PS4
– An art booklet
– A set of 22 tarot cards
– The original soundtrack
– A rather impressive looking 20cm high quality hand painted Resine figurine
That’s certainly nothing to be sniffed at! Anima is part of BadLand Games’ indie programme, and is a title that has been Greenlit on Steam already. The developers also raised over $110k in a successful Kickstarter campaign, a fair amount over their original $90k goal.
Perhaps most interestingly Anima is based on a popular series of Fantasy RPG books. Not only that, but the team that wrote the books are also directly involved in making the game!
Anima Gate of Memories is a third person action RPG. The game is mostly focused on combat and exploration, but it will also have a huge roleplaying elements. While it is story driven, it doesn’t force you to ride along rails to complete it. The game gives players freedom to explore a rich world and tackle only the obstacles that they want. This way, each player can visit many diverse places and reach very different endings depending on their choices. Anima Gate of Memories is based in the international Anima Beyond Fantasy RPG books, and the game is being developed by the same team who wrote them.
