Berserk and the Band of the Hawk Introduces “Endless Eclipse Mode”

Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is Omega Force’s most violent Warriors-style game to date, as you’d expect from any adaptation of Kentaro Miura fantastic Berserk series. Koei Tecmo have now announced a new mode for the game, Endless Eclipse Mode, which is pretty much what it sounds like it is.

In Berserk‘s Endless Eclipse Mode players will need to take on “an unending swarm of enemies” during the well-known Eclipse event from Berserk. This mode is seperate from the main game, and while challenging, will provide boosts and equipment usable in the main game by completing missions. The further you go into Endless Eclipse the harder it gets, and the stronger monsters you’ll have to face.

It sounds somewhat reminiscent of Samurai Warriors 4-II’s very cool Survival Mode. If it’s a bit like that but way more Berserk-y then we’ll be more than satisfied with Endless Eclipse Mode. The thing with Endless Eclipse Mode is that the Eclipse is very important to Berserk‘s story and lore, so it’s great to see an extra mode like this that’s tied together into the narrative of the game in this way. It’s all about context and I love it.

Spread the love!
