BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE EU Release Date and Online Beta Announced
PQube have revealed today that the much anticipated upcoming crossover 2v2 anime fighter from Arc System Works, BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE, will launch in the EU region on June 22nd 2018 for Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch!
Is that all? I hear you cry, but no, they also confirmed that there will be an online beta test for the EU region taking place between May 18th (which is today, people!) and midnight on May 20th to give players the chance to take the base roster of 20 characters into fierce online battles. From May 21st, the demo will then remain active for offline play until the release date with the leading four characters playable!
For those unaware, BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE is a fighting game from the prolifically talented Arc System Works that is bringing together the worlds and characters of BLAZBLUE, Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-Birth and (for the first time in a fighting game) the Rooster Teeth anime, RWBY. These franchises are colliding in a game that has simple enough inputs for new players, but with sophisticated mechanics to satisfy the veterans.
The full game will contain: a full story mode; an incredible online lobby experience; a variety of offline modes including a Survival Mode; Arc System Works’ trademark extensive tutorials, and a roster of 20 characters from across the four franchises.
