Call of Nep Nep – anime girl shooters make life better
This has been around for a while, and after rediscovering it again yesterday I thought I should probably have shared it. For those of you who always felt the world lacked a decent anime girl shooter (no, I’m not looking at you Bullet Girls) then this Call of Duty mod may be the next best thing.
This mod basically swaps out grizzly war men with the characters form the Neptunia series – and frankly, it’s the one of the funniest things you’ll see today. Unless you’ve not already seen it, that is.
Just for added giggles, as it’s basically a straight asset swap, this anime girl shooter still retains the gruff military voice over. Check it out below.
I defy anyone to argue that this doesn’t make Call of Duty infinitely better. I’ve long wanted to see a proper cute anime girl shooter done well. Until someone finally gets round to making my dream game (‘Sniper Waifus’, if you must know) then this is probably the closest I’m going to get.
And if that wasn’t good enough for you, there’s also a similar mod for Left 4 Dead, which is a special kind of genius.
I mean, honestly – just look at it. Who in their right mind wouldn’t want to play this.
