Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card Arc Gets 2018 Anime
The Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card Arc manga began earlier this year to celebrate Cardcaptor Sakura‘s 20th anniversary. There have also been lots of teasers about another big anniversary announcement, which is now confirmed as an anime adaptation of the new manga series!
Two years after the plot of the original Cardcaptor Sakura series, Sakura has a dream with a mysterious cloaked figure and then finds the Clow Cards have turned blank! Now she must set off on a new adventure to re-seal them.
Director Morio Asaka is returning for the new anime series, and the following members of the voice cast will also be reprising their roles:
– Sakura Tange as Sakura Kinomoto
– Aya Hisakawa as Keroberos
– Motoko Kumai as Syaoran Li
– Junko Iwao as Tomoyo Daidōji
– Megumi Ogata as Yukito Tsukishiro
– Tomokazu Seki as Tōya Kinomoto
This is a really exciting burst of nostalgia, even if it will be quite a wait!
The Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card Arc anime is due to begin airing in January 2018.
