Chrono Trigger is Now on Steam!
Square Enix has announced that Chrono Trigger, which has been fiendishly hard to buy in the West for years on a platform other than mobile, is now on Steam – and for only £11.99! If you purchase it before 2nd April, then you’ll be able to get your hands on 6 digital wallpapers, a 5-track medley, and composer Yasunori Mitsuda’s digital linear notes.
A collaboration between Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii, Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama and several members of the team behind Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger is one of the most highly-praised JRPGs to have been released.
I’ve never played this before (I know, shame on me!) so I’m really looking forward to finally giving it a go.
I’ve been gaming since a very young age and although I can’t remember my very first game, I fondly remember enjoying Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and being giddy with joy once I beat Dr. Robotnik. My all-time favourite game is a tie between Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy IX. As you may have noticed, I have a love for JRPG’s although I dabble in all genres.
