Detective Pikachu Will Head West This Year
It’s been a long time coming, but Detective Pikachu is finally making its way West and the little detective sounds as gruff as we all wanted him to be. The second episode finally releases in Japan in March, and the Western release will include both at launch when it lands in March.
You can watch the trailer below, which is fully dubbed into English, which shows off gameplay, story details and Pikachu’s speaking voice.
There’s also this new key art which sees Pikachu ready to solve any mystery.
Detective Pikachu releases exclusively on 3DS this March, and there’s a film adaptation in the works with Ryan Reynolds voicing the titular character.
I’ve been gaming since a very young age and although I can’t remember my very first game, I fondly remember enjoying Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and being giddy with joy once I beat Dr. Robotnik. My all-time favourite game is a tie between Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy IX. As you may have noticed, I have a love for JRPG’s although I dabble in all genres.
