Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 E3 Gameplay Trailer Reveals New Characters

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 may not have had an appearance in any of the E3 Media Briefings but publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have released a small amount of new information surrounding the game; namely the confirmation of three new playable characters and a gameplay trailer to highlight them in.

As revealed through a press release Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will allows Dragon Ball fans to play as “Turles”, from the Dragon Ball Z Movie Tree of Might, “Slug”, from the Dragon Ball Z movie Lord Slug, and Future Gohan from the Dragon Ball Z OVA Special “The History of Trunks”.

As you would expect each character will come with their own unique moveset and appearance; all of which will replicate their skills from the anime movie they are based upon.

You can see both Turles and Future Gohan in action in the brand new gameplay trailer shown below:

In addition to the new characters Bandai Namco Entertainment have confirmed that the online hub-world for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be known as Conyon City, for reference the previous hub-world in Dragon Ball Xenoverse was known as Toki Toki City, and up to 300 players can be seen online at any one time in this hub world.

The most crucial piece of news however was confirmation that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will support 60fps during combat across all platforms; which is of course a great piece of news.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is expected to be released later this year onto the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
