Dragon Quest XI Trailers, Game Set to be Pretty Long

Dragon Quest XI is aiming to hit triple digits once again with an incredible amount of content to play through, and a series of newly released trailers almost hit triple digits themselves with how much there is to watch! Read on to check out the latest on both the PS4 and 3DS versions of the game, and how they compare to one another.

It was recently announced that Dragon Quest XI would release on both the previously announced platforms in Japan on 29th July, with no Western release date in sight as of yet, but Square Enix also released a slew of new information regarding the latest in one of JRPG’s most popular series’. Check out the latest trailers for the PS4 and 3DS versions respectively, as well as a comparison trailer below.

DualShockers recorded some of the stream and released a handful of videos showcasing PS4 gameplay, which you can watch below. It’s all in Japanese, of course.

And here’s some further gameplay from the stream showing off 3DS gameplay.

Square Enix said that Dragon Quest XI’s story will take roughly 50 hours to complete, but there’s double that if you play the side-content too — which we intend on doing if it comes to the West! A “Spell of Restoration” is in the works to cross-save data between both versions of the game too, although due to differences it’ll never be the exact same. I’m not sure on how this works, but I’m very interested.

Dragon Quest XI releases in Japan on 29th June, and you should start messaging Square Enix on social media to bring this game Westward.

Spread the love!
