Fate/Extella First Screenshots
Marvelous entertainment announced Fate/Extella for the PlayStation 4 and Vita, and with it unveiled some of the game’s screenshots. The gameplay borrows a lot from Omega Force and their Warriors franchise, since you will be effortlessly slaying hundreds upon hundreds of enemies.
For now, we were shown off just three characters: Nero Claudius (Saber), Altera (Saber) and Tamamo no Mae (Caster). The Servants will now be able to power up into a new form and with that change their appearance.
The story will be written by non-other than Kinoko Nasu the writer of Tsukihime, Fate/Stay Night and Kara no Kyokai. It will not be a sequel to either Fate/Stay night nor Fate/Extra.
According to the developer the game is 60% complete and development was underway since the launch of the previous game, Fate/Grand Order.
The game’s official web site has a count down clock with the text “The clock starts again, waiting for one’s return.”, set to elapse just a bit over 3 days.
Japan can expect Fate/Extella sometime this year for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
