Bandai Namco Releases First City Shrouded in Shadow Trailer
Bandai Namco has released a debut trailer for City Shrouded in Shadow, an upcoming survival adventure game from the developers of the Disaster Report series! The trailer gives us a look at the main cast, as well as some of the ‘giant shadows’ that wreak havoc on the city! Take a look below:
City Shrouded in Shadow follows an ordinary man or woman attempting to survive the disaster that befalls the city when giant shadows appear. The protagonist is not a hero trying to fight these giants, but rather just an ordinary person trying to survive in the ensuing chaos.
The giant shadows are a variety of characters from different series, including Ultraman, Alien Zarab, Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Evangelion Unit-01, Sachiel, Gamera, the Legion, and mecha from Patlabor.
City Shrouded in Shadow is now available to pre-order in Japan, and early purchases will include costumes based on Masayuki Sudo and Mari Aizawa from Disaster Report and Kazuya Shinohara and Haruka Fujimiya from Disaster Report 2.
Digital pre-orders will also include a bonus in-game event where the player must work with PlayStation mascots Toro and Kuro to complete production of the game and will be rewarded with a special costume.
City Shrouded in Shadow releases on PS4 on October 19th in Japan.
